Buzz Word #8,
Water Quality Standards

Who really needs clean water? People. Nothing funny coming from that association. Fish. Fish need water. Aha.

The pan handler with a sign is one of the most common cartoon clichés out there, so you'd think you'd never sell a gag based on it, but sell they do. Remember, the cartooning universe s not based on logic.

Buzz Word #9, Casual Friday

Being a cartoonist, I dress pretty casual all the time. Frequently I'm in a bathrobe. Can't get much more casual than that. Or can you? Taking a concept to an extreme and absurd conclusion is another way I come up with ideas. An extremely Casual Friday?

Fashion Cartoon 6649
What would the opposite of casual Friday be? Formal Friday. Have the work place be somewhere where it would be absurd to be formal--some place like a car garage, a fishing boat or a farm--and it's even funnier.
